PixelNation ~ Solo Show
2011 has seen my interest in the pixel as a core fragment of new culture meld traditional oil painting with digital painting. My commitment to creating a daily drawing on my iPad for 365 days has, perhaps inevitably, influenced my oil paintings, with the two approaches mixing into new ideas, forms and presentations. This new series ~ PixelNation ~ will be shown at the ArtCentre of Plano in September 2011 for the first time, and then going on tour… more details to follow! |
